How accurate are Dynamic Engineering lead-time estimates?
Our quotes include very accurate lead-time estimates. We will usually contact our metal suppliers so that our customers can meet their production or assembly time tables.
What are Dynamic Engineering specialties?
We specialize in notching, metal blanking, shearing, cut to length, CNC punching, cutting, arc and spot welding, painting, silk-screening and labeling, finishing, final assembly as well as packaging and shipping.
What is the proper way to order?
We need specific information to ensure that the material needed for customers project is ordered correctly. The best way to get the material correctly ordered is for our customer to place a purchase order that contains the following important information:
- Specifications desired
- Gauge of materials
- Paint or surface finish required
- Part length needed
- Width of the part needed
- Desired delivery date
What are the benefits of contract manufacturing to Dynamic Engineering?
The O.E.M. does not have to invest in the needed or extra capital equipments to produce the needed components or products. THE O.E.M. does not have to invest in the cost of labor and benefits to meet the production needs. The O.E.M. does not incur the facility and power costs needed to produce the needed item. O.E.M. can find a contract manufacturing vendor that has the exact equipments, capacity, and expertise to complete their specific job requirements rather than investing themselves. O.E.M. can benefit from the experience and capabilities Dynamic Engineering has gained from similar and previous contract manufacturing assignments.
What are your payment terms?
Dynamic Engineering regular customers invoices are due 30 days from the date of the invoice. Your first order will be C.O.D until references are completed to our satisfaction, and in some cases 50% deposit may be required and the balance due at the time of pick-up of your order.
Do you own your own trucks?
Yes, we do have our own trucks. However, we also have excellent freight rates with most of the major carriers.
How long will Dynamic Engineering hold our goods in finished inventory?
We will hold finished goods up to 6 months, or JIT inventory
Do you have product liability insurance?
Yes, Dynamic Engineering carries product liability insurance.
What type of engineering support can you provide?
Our engineering department is capable of producing the required production drawings, which can vary from a sketch made on paper to a complete concept design, using customer-supplied CAD drawings.
What type of quality programs are followed?
First, Dynamic Engineering customer will approve all initial parts before production. Then, our personnel will inspect production parts using random sampling. Every operator is responsible for inspecting product or component quality at the beginning and end of their shift or a production run.
Do I need drawings?
We work most quickly when our customer can supply electronic or disk files containing all the drawings needed.
If we provide a concept, can you provide a finished product?
Yes, Dynamic Engineering will work with customers’ concepts to design, develop a tooling needed, and produce a finished custom made products or components.
If Dynamic Engineering makes the tooling, who owns the tooling?
We offer two options; either Dynamic Engineering owns the tooling or if the customer pays a tooling charge (NRE) then the customer owns the tooling.
Do you charge for engineering changes?
No, we don’t believe in charging for engineer changes; unless a major change is required. If a major change is required, then Dynamic Engineering will discuss the situation on a case by case.
Will you contract for, or tool to supply the secondary services that are required for a project?
Dynamic Engineering will definitely contract outside for metal fabricating services we don’t provide.
Will you assemble a complete product?
Yes, Dynamic Engineering will provide complete product assembly. We have a dedicated assembly area in the plant.
